1. Possible tricky questions

“How did you get my number?”

We’re calling voters in the district using publicly available voter registration lists.

“Where are you calling me from?”

I’m a volunteer calling with the campaign—I’m actually based in [state], but helping reach voters in the district.

“I am supporting another candidate.”

Understood—I appreciate you sharing that. Thanks for taking a moment to chat.

For anything you’re not sure about: “Great question — I’ll have the campaign follow up with you on that”, note it on the call, and move on.
